Full Moon Walks
Explore Barr Lake at dusk! Envision yourself taking a short brisk evening walk with a Park Naturalist. Moon walk programs are designed for adults and families with children age 6 and up. Limited to 15 participants; RSVP required by calling 303 659 6005. Meet at the Nature Center.

Magical Family Nights every Tuesday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm!
We've added a special touch of magic with nationally renowned magician, Dennis Michael. He will be performing magic tricks and illusions that will amaze guests of all ages. Kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of any 4-course meal from our dinner menu. One child per paying adult.

Bring your 2 to 5 year olds for storytime in our Destination Colorado exhibit and learn about farms, cowboys and animals. We'll read stories and then have playtime in the exhibit before the museum opens. Free with admission!

You, and a select group of people, are hiding in a military bunker, protected from the zombie take-over, when suddenly a murder occurs!
You are called upon to help solve the murder, but watch out - there may be zombies right in this very bunker!

On the second Saturday of each month, families have the opportunity to explore and create their own history, art, and culture through hands-on, immersive activities like adobe brick making, building log cabins, live performances, and role-playing in our exhibits.

I am not a runner, do I have to run?
No! We welcome and encourage those who prefer to walk. Sign up for the 1-mile loop, and join the fun!
Can I Dress up?
Yes! We encourage fun outfits and we will also have an award for the best dressed!
Can I bring my stroller?
Yes! All children are welcome, and strollers are allowed in this run/walk.
Can I bring my dog?
We love our fur babies, but unfortunately, they are not allowed at this event.
What are more details on where the money fundraised will go?
The Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit entity that will provide services to more than 2,000 pediatric patients and their families this year. Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation - PSL NICU donations will be used to support babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. The babies in NICUs will receive precious donor human milk, children will be matched with loving companion dogs, nurses and medical support staff will participate in training and service missions.
The Save the Children Foundation is also a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit entity created to help support the needs of young children and their families. Save the Children donations will be used to reach those children who are in the greatest need in communities throughout our country. Reach Out and Read donations will be utilized by the organization's network of local physicians who provide books to patients to improve literacy. What an excellent opportunity to teach our children about helping others through citizenship and charity!
